Your first appointment
As an institution specialized in the fields of gynecology, obstetrics and fertility, we are very pleased to provide you with quality, efficient and professional medical care and clarify any questions you may have regarding reproductive health.
Accordingly, in your first consultation your physician will ask you a number of relevant questions, such as when you first menstruation occurred, how long your periods last, the amount of bleeding and how regularly they occur, among other. With such information, the specialist will be able to proceed with breast and gynecologic examinations, where, if appropriate, a sample for the Pap test (cervical cancer screening) will be taken. In addition, your physician will tell you whether it is convenient to take an ultrasonography to examine your uterus and ovaries visually.
Visits to your gynecologist should be held on a regular basis to screen any pathologies such as breast, cervical, uterine and especially ovarian cancer, if you still plan to have a baby. Bear in mind that prevention and early diagnosis are key to maintain your physical and emotional health at its fullest.
